Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 10-year- old daughter and 2 basset hounds. She loves to be outdoors, especially on the water.

Primary Assistant Teacher

Jessica’s love of Montessori started at a young age while attending a Montessori Primary program in her hometown.  She knew she wanted to be a teacher and graduated from Gwynedd Mercy University with her Master’s in Early Childhood Education.  Upon graduation, she worked as a Certified Child Life Specialist in the MUSC Pediatric Emergency Department.   Most recently she worked as the Child Care Quality and Enhancement Training Specialist for Dorchester County First Steps.  She is trained in Conscious Discipline and earned her Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE) Infant & Toddler certificate.  Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children who will also be attending ECMCS.  Her hobbies include designing and sewing custom dresses, traveling to the beach and collecting vintage aprons.  She is thrilled to be part of the ECMCS community!
