Artistic Portion

4th years: 3-D tribal shelter that can be constructed as a singular construction, diorama, or a tribal homeland scene (landscape is relevant to the Native American's region). Students are always welcome to bring in additional NA projects to enhance their shelters. If these projects can tied into the fundamental need of art, philosophy or religion then it will acceptable to stand in for the handmade piece of art.

5th Years

Artistic Portion:

5th years: Photo collage that depicts one significant event from paragraphs 2- 6. There is a minimum of 5 photographs that should be arranged on 81/2 x 11 or 11x14 paper. Each photograph needs to have a caption that indicates who or what event is occurring in the photograph. For example, a picture of the Battle of Fort Sumter would have the caption that might possibly read April 12, 1861 Fort Sumter, Charleston Harbor.
