Dear ECMCS Families:
Our family has gotten to know so many of you throughout the years. Ahead of Giving Tuesday at ECMCS, we wanted to share our story and ask you to join us in supporting the Annual Fund. We were very fortunate for our son, JJ to be selected as a 1st grade student in 2018 lottery. While we were initially chosen in a random drawing to attend, we continued to choose East Cooper Montessori for the rest of our large family because of their unwavering commitment to an excellent public Montessori education as seen on the school's report card and felt everyday through my children.
As winners of the School Choice lottery, our family feels compelled to give back and support ECMCS so that its unique approach and programs can continue to thrive. You might be wondering what your donations to the Annual Fund cover. Remember that as a charter school, we are only partially funded by the state of South Carolina. Our family, like many others alongside us, understand that it costs a significant amount of resources for ECMCS to continue to provide the level of education and extra programming that is unavailable at many public schools. In years past we have been grateful to sustain this level of support, and we are asking again for your help in making 100% of our Annual Fund goal for the 2023-24 school year. While any donation is greatly appreciated, we can meet our goal with your tax-deductible gift of $3 a day per child for the 180 days of school. Any and all amounts that you can give support our Annual Fund. Together we all make the ECMCS Difference.
