Learn More About Becoming an ECMCS Student

ECMCS uses the Charleston County School District's School Choice application for the admissions process. The application for the 2024-25 school year will be available mid-January 2024.  A random lottery is held between March-April. Results of the lottery will be announced in April. Visit the CCSD School Choice Page for important dates as they become avilable.

Tours

East Cooper Montessori Charter School holds monthly tours for prospective families from October through February.  You must register to attend a tour.

All tours start at 9 AM eastern time.
 

Virtual School Choice Fair

In addition to our in-person tours, we will conduct 2 virtual information sessions as part of the Charleston County School District's Virtual School Choice Fair on Saturday, January 27, 2024.

  • All sessions will be held virtually, via Zoom.
  • School session times: 10:00 | 11:00 with a General CCSD Session time: 12:00
  • In addition to the two school sessions, the School Choice Office will also host a general information session to answer questions about the application process. Assistance with translation and application completion can be provided or scheduled for a future date through this session.
  • The Early Childhood Department will also hold information sessions.

When available, please click on any of the school session registration links on the School Choice website. You will receive a Zoom link to join that session at the email address you provide.
