Ms. Jordan - Primary / LE School Counselor
Ms. Jordan is a Charleston native and is so proud to have called this beautiful city home. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of Charleston in 2018 and her Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from The Citadel in 2022. She taught second grade for two years in Dorchester District Two. Through her experiences as a teacher, she developed a deep passion for the social and emotional learning and well-being of her students. She also discovered the vast need for support in this area for student success. Although she loved teaching and being in the classroom, she felt like her heart could better serve children through the role of a school counselor. She believes that the Montessori and counseling philosophies align so well together and truly maximize student growth and achievement. In addition to being a school counselor, she is a National Certified Counselor. In her free time, Ms. Jordan enjoys seeing her friends and family, riding her bike around the neighborhood, reading books, exercising, traveling, and spending lots of time outdoors in the sunshine.
